RARE - USAF Eagles display team signed 1976 Flown cover
A very unusual and rare flown cover signed by the whole of the 1976 USAF Eagles display team. It was flown by them in their F4 Phantoms at the 1976 Mildenhall American Bicentennial Air Display and is certified 927 of 996. It has an insert card giving individual details of all the team members.
The team signatories includes at least one highly decorated Vietnam combat pilot with 824 hours combat flying!!
It also has a lovely postmarked 11p. stamp celebrating the Bicentenary.
